BONNIE MESHAD | Co-Chair

Bonnie Meshad is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University, as well as her Masters Degree in Education. Bonnie taught elementary school for 5 years before retiring to raise her children Griffin and Ava. She became involved in the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia in 2003 after her son was diagnosed with epilepsy and served on the Board of Directors of EFGA from 2005-2018.

Bonnie served on the Executive Committee for many years and as Chair of the Board from 2014-2016. While at EFGA, she co-chaired their most significant fundraiser for more than 15 years. Bonnie served a term on the National Epilepsy Foundation Board from 2009-2011. From 2014 -2018, she served on the Board of Trustees for Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. There she was active on their development committee and helped lead two successful capital campaigns. In addition, Bonnie is also the Executive Director of her family’s foundation, The Patricia Bowman Terwilliger Family Foundation, which donates a large percentage of their funds to causes related to epilepsy, children’s healthcare, and education. Bonnie currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and their children.
